The Parks and Recreation Commission reviewed "Pollinators" on January 10, 2019.
With a 4-1 vote, the Parks and Recreation Commission recommended moving the one
9-foot high gage laser cut stainless steel sculpture, unlit, to be placed inside the Oak
Woodland area near the north end of the park closest to Oak Vista Way and Bernal
Avenue to City Council for review. The one opposing vote liked the piece and the
location, but wanted a material that more closely matched the natural environment of
the Oak Woodland, such as cor-ten steel.
Submitted by: Fiscal Rev.ew: Approve by:
(i/L—( ,_ff).(,0-D_____
Heidi Murphy Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Director of Library Director of Finance City Manager
and Recreation
Library and Recreation
Attachments:
1.
