MOTION: It was m/s Narum/Pentin to introduce and waive first reading of Ordinance No. 2186 <br /> approving the application of Hacienda Owners Association for a Major Modification to the approved <br /> Planning Development (PUD) Governing Hacienda Business Park (PUD-81-30 and PUD-85-08) to <br /> update the PUD Development Plan, PUD 81-30-57M PUD 85-08-30M and introduce and waive first <br /> reading of Ordinance No. 2187 approving the application of Hacienda Owners Association for a <br /> Major Modification to the approved Planning Development (PUD) Governing Hacienda Business <br /> Park (PUD-81-30 and PUD-85-08) to update the PUD Development Plan, PUD 81-30-58M PUD <br /> 85-08-31M. Motion passed by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Narum, Pentin, Testa, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: Councilmember Brown <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> Councilmember Narum obtained City Council consensus to place an item on an upcoming agenda to <br /> review and discuss the zoning of the property on First Street. <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Mayor Thorne reported he would be attending a meeting in Washington D.C. <br /> Councilmember Pentin discussed efforts related to the StopWaste.org initiative, a recycling contest, and <br /> briefly mentioned development of an app that will assist residents in determining items to sort for <br /> recycling. <br /> Councilmember Narum invited the community to save the date for an upcoming joint meeting of the City <br /> Council and School Board, tentatively scheduled for April 8, 2019, where consideration of the next steps <br /> regarding co-locating each organization's maintenance facilities would be on the agenda. <br /> Councilmember Testa reported on attending the Altamont Landfill Monitoring Committee meeting and <br /> noted recycling efforts have successfully delayed the necessity of utilizing a second recycling site. She <br /> expressed support for the City and resident efforts to promote recycling. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m. The Council extended a tribute <br /> to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
