CITY LIMIT <br /> Castleridge Trail & Parking Improvements (CIP No. 17749) <br /> EBRPD worked with the City to install a trailhead access on Old Foothill Road. The <br /> project converted the existing two-way traffic lanes on Old Foothill Road to a one-way <br /> traffic lane, providing a safe and community-friendly access to the new EBRPD <br /> trailhead, Alviso Adobe Community Park, and residences. The work included overlaying <br /> 40,000 square feet of existing pavement with a new layer of asphalt concrete, installing <br /> striping and signage for 45 new parking stalls, roadway widening, and drainage <br /> modification. The City received a reimbursement amount of$141,952 from EBRPD for <br /> the improvement cost. <br /> Vineyard Avenue Trail Improvements (Phase I, CIP No. 13544)- <br /> The project converted 4,600 linear feet of Old Vineyard Avenue, between Vineyard <br /> Terrace and Heinz Ranch Court, into multi-use trail. The work consisted of installation of <br /> an 8-to-14-foot-wide equestrian path by pulverizing and grading the existing roadway <br /> pavement section and a 12-foot-wide pedestrian path by leveling and overlaying the <br /> existing roadway with asphalt concrete. Additionally, installation of 506 feet of concrete <br /> curb and gutter, installation of 1,200 square feet of sidewalk, installation and <br /> Page 6 of 8 <br />
