WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Pleas- <br />anton, and is uninhabited territory in the County of Alameda; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, owners of more than two-thirds of the value of <br /> <br />the territory proposed to be annexed have filed with the City <br />Clerk pursuant to Section 35319 of the Government Code of the <br />State of California, their written consent to have said terri- <br />tory taxed to pay any indebted or liability of the City con- <br />tracted prior to or existing at the time of annexation, to wit, <br />to pay their proportionate share of the bonded indebtedness of <br />the City of Pleasanton presently authorized for the acquisition, <br />construction or completion of municipal improvements. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. The City Council does hereby approve the <br />annexation of the territory hereinafter described in Exhibit A, <br />attached hereto and incorporated here in by reference, and does <br />hereby further ordain that said territory be and is hereby <br />annexed to the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordianace shall become effective thirty (30) <br />days after its passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within <br />fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper <br />of general circulation, published and circulated in the City of <br />Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Pleasanton on October 30, 1974 . <br /> <br /> <br />
