CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE APPROVING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN <br /> UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "PLEASANTON <br /> ANNEXATION NO. 68" TO THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> (DeVOR-BUSCH PROPERTY). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on September 16, 1974, the City Council passed and <br />adopted Resolution No. 74-178 giving notice of the proposed <br />annexation of certain uninhabited territory to the City of <br />Pleasanton, said territory being therein designated as "Pleas- <br />anton Annexation No. 68," said resolution describing the <br />boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said resolution did contain a notice of the dayf <br />hour and place when and where the City Council would hear pro- <br />tests made by any person owning real property within the <br />territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing <br />being not less than 40 nor more than 60 days from the date of <br />passage of said resolution; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on October 30, 1974, at the hour of 8:00 P.M. <br /> <br />in the Council chambers of the City of Pleasanton, 30 West <br />Angela Street, County of Alameda, State of California, said <br />time and place being the day, hour and place fixed in said <br />resolution for hearing protests to the said annexation, the <br />City Council did hear and pass upon all protests made to the <br />proposed annexation and did determine that protests had not <br />been made by owners of one-half of the value of the privately <br />owned territory proposed to be annexed as shown by the last <br />equalized assessment roll, nor by public owners of one-half of <br />the value of the publicly owned territory proposed to be an- <br />anexed as determined by said legislative body; and <br /> <br /> <br />
