Employees subpoenaed or called to appear as a witness in an administrative or legal proceeding <br /> about a work-related matter shall be granted time off with pay for all time necessarily spent in <br /> compliance of the subpoena or request to testify, including travel time, waiting time and time <br /> spent testifying as a witness. <br /> B. Employees subpoenaed or called to appear as a witness on behalf of the City or Department <br /> during their off duty hours shall receive compensation as hours worked in accordance with <br /> Section 7 of this MOU for all time necessarily spent in compliance of the subpoena or request to <br /> testify, including travel time, waiting time and time spent testifying as a witness. <br /> - <br /> 15.5-4 Military Leave <br /> Military leave shall be granted in accordance with the provisions of law. All employees entitled to <br /> military leave shall give the Fire Chief an opportunity within the limits of military regulations to <br /> determine when such leave shall be taken and may modify the employee's work schedule to <br /> accommodate the request for leave. <br /> 29 <br />
