Sick Leave <br /> I 14.1 Sick Leave Accrual—56 Hour Shift Employees <br /> All employees assigned to 56-hour work schedules shall earn paid sick leave at the rate of eleven and <br /> two-tenths (11.2) hours for each month of service while assigned to a 56-hour work schedule. <br /> Probationary employees assigned to a 56-hour work schedule who successfully complete their 18-month <br /> new employee probationary period shall receive a one-time lump sum credit of four hundred seventy and <br /> four-tenths (470.4) hours of paid sick leave in addition to the sick leave accrued during their <br /> probationary period. <br /> Employees assigned to 56-hour work schedules may accumulate a maximum of 2,912 sick leave hours. <br /> Non-probationary employees assigned to a 56-hour work schedule are allowed a sick leave deficit of <br /> fifty-six (56) hours beyond that actually earned. Probationary employees assigned to a 56-hour work <br /> schedule are allowed a sick leave deficit of thirty-three and six-tenths (33.6) hours beyond that actually <br /> earned. <br /> Employees on leave of absence with pay in lieu of temporary disability payments pursuant to Section <br /> 4850 of the Labor Code shall accumulate sick leave during said leave of absence in accordance with this <br /> section. <br /> Employees shall earn sick leave at the rate of eleven . • - <br /> . -- .. . . . . . - . - . . . .•. - . . ..,• - <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> I.. - . .. . .. . - • - - -- - - . ., . - - - -- • . . 1.4 <br /> hours per month to a total of 2,016.
