Presentation of a proclamation declaring September 22-28 Elder Fall Prevention Awareness <br /> Week <br /> Councilmember Olson invited Joey Chang to the podium and read the proclamation declaring <br /> September 22-28 Elder Fall Prevention Awareness Week. <br /> On behalf of the Senior Support Program of the Tri-Valley and the Senior Injury Prevention <br /> Partnership, Mr. Chang thanked the Council for the acknowledgement. <br /> 13. Public Comment <br /> Rob Rubin reported attending the last Committee on Energy and the Environment Committee <br /> meeting to inquire about the three cell towers on Valley Avenue, before the intersection on <br /> Stanley Boulevard. He expressed concerns with radiation emissions. <br /> Mayor Thorne referred him to City staff. <br /> Aadit Policepatil, a freshman at Amador High School involved in the Boy Scouts, inquired as to <br /> City Council meeting attendance and qualification for Boy Scout badges. <br /> Mayor Thorne directed City staff to assist Mr. Policepatil. <br /> Victoria Cristobal, Spectrum Community Services, announced an upcoming fundraiser and <br /> thanked Council for increased funding for the organization; however, she noted it is not enough to <br /> meet the operational needs which have increased by 50% in the last three years. <br /> City Council Minutes Page 3 of 5 September 18, 2018 <br />
