This project consists of improvements to the Del Valle <br /> Water Treatment Plant including, but not limited to: new ozone generation facility, new ozone contactor <br /> structure, new chemical facilities including liquid oxygen and carbon dioxide, new electrical facilities, <br /> new water softening facility, new utility water pump station, new emergency generator, new chlorine <br /> contact pipeline, modifications to existing filters, chemical systems, piping, utilities, structures and site. <br /> The estimated cost of the DVWTP ozone project is approximately $49 million, with $38 million paid <br /> bond proceeds and the remainder $11 million will be paid from the Fund 120 capital projects reserve <br /> balance.The project is expected to be complete by May 2020. <br /> Patterson Pass Water Treatment Plant Upgrades and Ozonation Project. This project consists of <br /> improvements to the Patterson Pass Water Treatment Plant including, but not limited to: new ozone <br /> generation facility, new ozone contactor structure, new chemical facilities including liquid oxygen and <br /> carbon dioxide, new electrical facilities, new emergency generator,new chlorine contactor structure, new <br /> filters with filter gallery,new clearwell and pump station,and modifications to existing chemical systems, <br /> piping, utilities, structures, and site. The plant expansion increases plant capacity from approximately 19 <br /> million gallons per day (mgd) to 24 mgd. The estimated total construction cost for this project is <br /> approximately $75 million. The estimated construction cost for the ozonation portion is $40 million, of <br /> which approximately $19 million is expected to be paid from the proceeds of the Bonds. This project is <br /> expected to be complete by early-2022. <br /> In addition to the DVWTP Ozone and PPWTP Upgrades projects, there are other significant projects <br /> underway that are designed to maintain existing infrastructure: <br /> ) Chain of Lakes Well 1 Stabilization Project($3.4M) <br /> ) Dougherty Reservoir Recoating and Rehabilitation Project($1.1M) <br /> DVWTP Polymer Mixing System Replacement($0.6M) <br /> 4 <br />
