Ruby Hillers Upper Potable Reservoir (Ruby) is a 1.5 million-gallon <br /> on-grade welded steel reservoir. Moller Potable Reservoir(Moller) is a 500,000-gallon on-grade welded <br /> steel reservoir. Laurel Creek Potable Reservoir (Laurel) is a 350,000-gallon on-grade welded steel <br /> reservoir.These three tanks will be rehabilitated with new linings and new cathodic protection systems. <br /> V&A Consulting Engineers, Inc. (V&A) is prepared to design cathodic protection systems for the interior <br /> of the Ruby, Moller, and Laurel Reservoirs, and provide bidding assistance. Construction assistance may <br /> be offered through an amendment to this proposal later. <br /> Per your request, the following is our proposal and detailed scope of work for the subject services: <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Task I Description <br /> 1. Design: <br /> a. Document Review: Review inspection reports, water quality information, and plans and <br /> specifications for the water tanks. <br /> b. Plans and Specifications: Prepare plans and technical specification Section 13 47 13, <br /> "Cathodic Protection," for the cathodic protection system. Plans will be prepared in AutoCAD <br /> and will be provided in PDF format. Plans and specifications will be prepared for the 65%, <br /> 100%, and Final submittals. One round of comments will be addressed at each submittal. If <br /> more submittals are requested,submittals will be invoiced on a time and materials basis at the <br /> rates shown on the attached Resource Allocation Estimate. <br /> c. Opinion of Probable Cost: Prepare an opinion of probable cost for the construction of the <br /> cathodic protection system at the 65%, 100%, and Final submittals. <br /> d. Technical Assistance: Provide up to 12 hours of technical assistance and participation in <br /> conference calls, as required. Time spent over 12 hours will be invoiced on a time and <br /> materials basis at the rates shown on the attached Resource Allocation Estimate. <br /> 2. Bidding Assistance: Provide up to 18 hours of bidding assistance and participation in conference <br /> calls, as required. Bidding assistance includes preparing conformed documents and responding to <br /> question from potential bidders for the cathodic protection or corrosion monitoring system. Time <br /> spent over 18 hours will be invoiced on a time and materials basis at the rates shown on the <br /> attached Resource Allocation Estimate. <br />
