• <br /> Moller Ranch (0.5MG): Interior spot repairs above vapor zone and recoat below water line, replacement <br /> of the access hatch,and a new CP system <br /> Laurel Creek(0.35MG): Full interior recoat, replacement of the center support and access hatch, ladder, <br /> bolt repairs, and a new CP system. <br /> Plans and specifications will be developed from as-builts and photo documentation to bid the <br /> rehabilitation work and shall include removal of coatings, piping, materials,testing,construction <br /> methods,and construction sequencing. <br /> As previously recommended, a temporary pumping system will be installed at the Ruby Hill pump <br /> station,capable of tying into the water main and supplying upwards of 3,300 gpm to the system in the <br /> event of a fire. Quincy and our electrical engineering subconsultant, Frisch Engineering,will coordinate <br /> with the City on electrical and instrumentation requirements for the site, including power for the <br /> temporary pump(s). <br /> At the 65% milestone,construction documents will include the following: <br /> • Design Drawings <br /> ✓ Cover Sheet and Vicinity V Piping Plans and Details <br /> Map ✓ Electrical Plans and Details <br /> ✓ General Notes, Legends ✓ Cathodic Protection Plans <br /> ✓ Key Map Staging Plan and Details <br /> ✓ Mechanical Plans and <br /> Details <br /> • Technical Specifications including coating, electrical, and cathodic protection <br /> • Engineer's Opinion of Probable Construction Costs <br /> Task 3.2—100%Submittal <br /> Following the receipt of electronic comments for the 65%submittal and a design review meeting, a <br /> 100%design submittal will be prepared that will incorporate the changes to satisfy the City's comments. <br /> Quincy will prepare a revised engineer's opinion of construction cost,with more detail and 10% <br /> contingency.The 100%submittal documents will be considered the final work product, except for any <br /> City comments that need to be incorporated into the final documents. <br /> Task 3.3—Final "Issue for Bid" Construction Documents <br /> Following the receipt of electronic comments on the 100%documents and a final design review <br /> meeting, a final submittal will be prepared of the"Issue for Bid" set of contract documents. <br /> Task 3.4-QA/QC <br /> Linda Scroggs will be responsible for quality assurance and quality control, including an internal review <br /> of all design deliverables. <br /> Task 4—Bid Phase Services <br /> Task 4.1—Engineering Services During Bid <br /> Quincy will assist the City,as required, during the bid period for this project.The work will include: <br /> 1) Attend the pre-bid meeting and respond to questions,as necessary. <br /> 2) Prepare responses to bidder's inquiries during bid period. <br /> 3) Prepare bid addenda (at most 2). <br />
