ATTACHMENT 8 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AMENDING <br /> THE MASTER FEE SCHEDULE TO UPDATE THE EXISTING CAPITAL FACILITY, <br /> TRANSPORTATION AND AFFORDABLE HOUSING DEVELOPMENT IMPACT FEES <br /> WHEREAS, Chapters 3.22, 3.26 and 17.40 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code <br /> established the Public Facilities, Traffic Development and Lower-Income Housing Development <br /> Impact Fees and provided that such fees shall be adopted by resolution of the City Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City has undertaken a comprehensive review of such Public Facilities <br /> (referred to as Capital Facility), Traffic Development (referred to as Transportation) and Lower- <br /> Income Housing (referred to as Affordable Housing) Development Impact Fees to reflect the <br /> improvements described in the 2005-2025 General Plan and the most recent Capital <br /> Improvement Program that form a portion of the basis for such fees as detailed in the Economic <br /> & Planning Systems study, as well as based on community input, that results in changes to the <br /> fees charged; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Public Facilities Fee in Ch. 3.22 will now also be referred to as the <br /> Capital Facility Fee; the Traffic Development Fee in Ch. 3.26 will now also be referred to as the <br /> Transportation Fee; and the Lower-Income Housing Fee in Ch. 17.40 will now also be referred <br /> to as the Affordable Housing Fee. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. That the update of these fees is exempt from environmental review under <br /> the California Environmental Quality Act per Regulation §15061(b)(3). <br /> SECTION 2. Amends the Master Fee Schedule as set forth in the attached Exhibit A; <br /> but for those projects already in process as described in the attached Exhibit B such in process <br /> projects shall only subject to the now current capital facility, transportation and affordable housing <br /> fees and not to the updated fee amounts as set forth in this resolution. <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective on January 1, 2019. <br /> SECTION 4. City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it into the <br /> book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on September 18, 2018. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on September 18, 2018, by <br /> the following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br />
