order to extend the interim zoning on this property for an addi- <br />tional one year; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br />DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: The provisions of Ordinance 698 as they relate <br />to property shown on Zoning Unit Map No. 133 (Qualified Invest- <br />ments property), dated June 20, 1973, are hereby extended for a <br />period of one year. <br /> <br /> Section 2. The provisions of Ordinance No. 698 as they re- <br />late to Assessor's Parcel Number 946-2577-5-14, as shown on Zoning <br />Unit Map No. %40 (Mission Park property) dated July 3, 1974, are <br />hereby extended for one year. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance is declared to be adopted pursuan~ <br />to ~65858 of the Government Code of the State of California and is <br />necessary and required to protect the public safety, health and <br />welfare of the citizens of the City of Pleasanton for the reason <br />stated above. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall be of force and effect <br />immediately upon its passage and adoption and shall be of no fur- <br />ther force and effect one year from the date of its adoption there- <br />of unless extended as provided by law, or unless, prior to expira- <br />tion, permanent zoning districts are established with respect to <br />the properties herein described. <br /> <br /> Section 5. If any section, subsection, subdivision, para- <br />graph, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance or any part <br />thereof is, for any reason, held to be unconstitutional, such <br />decision shall not effect the viability of the remaining portion <br />of this ordinance or any part thereof The City Council hereby <br />declares that it would have passed each section, subsection, sub- <br />division, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase thereof irrespec- <br />tive of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, <br />subdivisions, paragraphs, sentences, clauses or phrases be declare, <br />unconstitutional. <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
