3. Waived second reading and adopted Ordinance No. 2181 approving the application of <br /> Carpenter's Training Facility for a Planned Unit Development Plan, filed under Case PUD-125 <br /> 4. Waived full reading and adopted Resolution No. 18-1024 authorizing an application with the <br /> Metropolitan Transportation Commission in the amount of$74,845 in Transportation Development <br /> Act Article 3 funds for the design and construction of bicycle and pedestrian improvements on the <br /> West Las Positas Boulevard corridor <br /> Engineering <br /> 5. Approved plans and specifications, reviewed bids, and authorized the City Manager to enter into a <br /> construction contract with Saboo, Inc. in the amount of $1,990,000 for the Dolores Bengtson <br /> Aquatic Center facility and locker room renovation project, CIP No. 17706; authorized the Director <br /> of Engineering to approve and execute contract change orders for a contingency amount not-to- <br /> exceed $99,985; approved the proposal from ENGEO, Inc., to provide geotechnical testing, <br /> material testing and special inspection services for the project during construction on an as- <br /> needed basis and up to a not-to-exceed $50,000 from the Repair and replacement Fund to this <br /> project; authorized the reallocation of $1,054.000 from CIP General Fund Reserve (CIP No. <br /> 06418) to fully fund this project; approved an on-call authorization not-to-exceed $100,000 with an <br /> existing on-call consultant for part-time project management services <br /> Finance <br /> 6. Accepted the monthly disbursements and investment report for April 2018 <br /> Operations Services <br /> 7. Approved amendments to the term of -As Needed" Contracts and increase contract limit for <br /> various out-sourced services related to facility repairs. street repairs, utility maintenance. <br /> equipment repairs, and park and trail and street median maintenance and landscaping; authorized <br /> the City Manager to amend the agreements with each listed vendor for As-Needed services for <br /> one year and allow for Prevailing Wage and/or Engineer News Records Construction Cost index <br /> for the Northern California region rate changes, and retain the $1,000,000 cumulative value over <br /> the entire duration of the contracts for all as-needed contracts outlined in the report <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Narum/Olson to approve the Consent Calendar as submitted, and as <br /> noted.
