areas in need of protection, and to make plans for acquisition as intended by the
Settlement Agreement.
In accordance with Section 7.4.7 of the Settlement Agreement, the voting members
from both the east and west acquisition priority areas voted unanimously to authorize
the expenditure of funds up to $23,650 for professional services, which is within the five
percent of funds received annually. Through the first three quarters of 2017, deposits
into the Altamont Open Space Fund totaled $731,315, with more than $170,000
accumulated in the Vasco Road Landfill Open Space Fund. Since the Open Space
Committee does not have contract authority, the City of Livermore would administer the
contract.
Section 7.4.7 also requires the Board of Supervisors and each city council to concur
with the Advisory Committee's authorization of funding. In March and April of 2018, the
Livermore City Council and Alameda County Board of Supervisors have voted to accept
the list of general priority areas and approve the proposed expenditure of $23,650.
Submitt d by: Fiscpl R view: Approved by:
% ( ,tA/6/
Gerry Beaudin Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Director of Director of Finance City Manager
Community Development
Attachments:
1.
