THE CITY OF
- _ 20
CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT
pL£ASANTON.
June 19, 2018
Operations Services
TITLE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO THE TERM OF "AS-NEEDED" CONTRACTS
FOR VARIOUS OUT-SOURCED SERVICES RELATED TO FACILITY
REPAIRS, STREET LIGHT MAINTENANCE, UTILITY MAINTENANCE, AND
EQUIPMENT REPAIRS
SUMMARY
To effectively maintain the community infrastructure, the City actively seeks a number of out-
sourced as-needed contractor services in a broad range of areas, including facility repairs,
streets light maintenance, utilities (water and sewer) maintenance, and equipment repairs.
Each contract has an annual not-to exceed amount of $100,000 per fiscal year spending
authority. The proposed action would extend the term of these contracts by one year and allow
for Prevailing Wage for the Northern California region rate changes.
RECOMMENDATION
Authorize the City Manager to amend the Agreement with each listed vendor for As-Needed
services for one year and allow for Prevailing Wage for the Northern California region rate
changes.
FINANCIAL STATEMENT
Contracted services are funded in the Operating and Capital Improvement budgets for the
Divisions that oversee the work.
