THE CITY OF 4 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONL <br /> June 5, 2018 <br /> Community Development <br /> Traffic Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN APPLICATION WITH THE <br /> METROPOLITAN TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION FOR ALLOCATION <br /> OF TRANSPORTATION DEVELOPMENT ACT (TDA) ARTICLE 3 FUNDS <br /> FOR BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN IMPROVEMENTS ON THE WEST LAS <br /> POSITAS BOULEVARD CORRIDOR <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Metropolitan Transportation Commission (MTC) provides annual funding through <br /> Transportation Development Act (TDA) Article 3 for bicycle and pedestrian <br /> improvements. The 2018 Allocation of the TDA Article 3 funds is recommended for use <br /> on the West Las Positas corridor. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Adopt a resolution authorizing an application with the Metropolitan Transportation <br /> Commission for $74,845 in Transportation Development Act Article 3 funds for the <br /> design and construction of bicycle and pedestrian improvements on the West Las <br /> Positas Corridor. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There is no financial impact associated with the adoption of the resolution authorizing <br /> an application with the Metropolitan Transportation Commission for Transportation <br /> Development Act Article 3 funds. <br />
