THE CITY OF ^ <br /> 2121 CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT �V1 <br /> PLEASANTON. <br /> May 15, 2018 <br /> Engineering <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT THE REMAINING 10% OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br /> TRACT 8147 (TOWNSHIP SQUARE) LOCATED AT 1600 VALLEY <br /> AVENUE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Tract Map 8147 created ninety-seven lots for single-family homes, one lot for an <br /> apartment complex, and nineteen lots for common areas and private streets. The <br /> property is located south of Bernal Avenue and the Pleasanton Gateway Shopping <br /> center, west of Valley Avenue, and east of Hwy 680 as shown on Attachment 1. All <br /> subdivision improvements have been constructed and the remaining 10 percent of the <br /> public improvements are ready for acceptance. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the remaining 10% of the public improvements constructed with Tract 8147 <br /> for normal maintenance. <br /> 2. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion and release the Performance <br /> Bond and Labor and Materials Bond. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be a minimal increase to the budget for the maintenance of public <br /> improvements. Tax revenue generally covers the increased cost to provide services and <br /> maintain infrastructure. <br />
