THE CITY OF 8 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONo <br /> May 1, 2018 <br /> Operations Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE AMENDMENT TO EXTEND POLICE VEHICLE OUTFITTING <br /> SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH LEHR (FORMERLY PURSUIT NORTH) <br /> FOR ONE YEAR <br /> SUMMARY <br /> To effectively maintain and outfit Police Vehicles with a large range of accessories and <br /> equipment, the Police Department contracted with Lehr (formerly Pursuit North) to <br /> perform as-needed Police Vehicle outfitting services. The original contract term, started <br /> on February 1, 2014 and expired January 31, 2016. The First Amendment to the <br /> Agreement expired on January 31, 2018. Management of the contract was transferred <br /> to the Operations Services Department (OSD) in late 2017 in anticipation of purchasing <br /> and outfitting new police patrol vehicles. Staff is requesting authorization to amend the <br /> agreement for one additional year as allowed by City's Purchasing Policy. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve second amendment to the agreement with Lehr (formerly Pursuit North) to <br /> provide a CPI increase and term extension of one year for police vehicle outfitting <br /> services for a not-to-exceed amount of$200,000. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Police vehicle outfitting services are funded through a combination of the Operations <br /> Services, Fleet Maintenance Budget, Vehicle Repair and Replacement Fund and IT <br /> Repair and Replacement Fund. No further appropriations are requested. <br />
