2. Change timing for payment of Backflow Prevention Device Administrative Fee.
For protection of the potable water supply, customers using recycled water, well water,
and with certain plumbing configurations must have a backflow prevention device. The
current administrative fee for such devices is ten dollars ($10.00) paid bi-monthly (every
two months = six times a year; $10 x 6 = $60 annually). Staff have determined it would
be more efficient and effective to change the timing for the payment to one (1) time
annually in conjunction with on-site testing in the same amount of sixty dollars ($60.00).
3. Delete bicycle licensing permit fee. With the proposal to amend the municipal
code to delete the local bicycle licensing requirement, above, the Master Fee Schedule
is also proposed to be amended to remove that bicycle licensing permit fee (which
ranges from one dollar ($1.00) to three dollars ($3.00)).
RECOMMENDATION
Introduce the omnibus ordinance and adopt the two resolutions.
Submitted by: Fiscal review by: Approved by:
art 5a le k /1/1/ AJ1L/
Larissa Seto Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Assistant City Attorney Finance Director City Manager
Attachments:
1.
