BACKGROUND
The Professional Services Agreement with Ajilon expired on December 21, 2017 and
the Finance Department continued to use their services through the end of February
2018. Ajilon provided staffing services steadily throughout the past year to assist with
the Tyler-Munis ERP system implementation and to backfill for an employee who was
on an extended leave of absence. The vendor has a proven track record of sending
qualified individuals to the City to perform professional levels of finance and accounting
work.
DISCUSSION
While staff does not anticipate significant voids in staffing over the next year, it would
like to retain Ajilon as a resource should there be an immediate need for staffing
services requiring finance and accounting expertise. Promptly filling staffing voids with
qualified individuals minimizes daily operation disruptions. This contract will also be
made available to other departments should this expertise be needed elsewhere in the
City. Departments will be responsible for ensuring adequate departmental budget prior
to utilizing this contract.
Submitted by: Approved b :
//t0AA
Tina Olson Nelson Fialho
Director of Finance City Manager
Attachment
1.
