THE CITY OF 1 8 <br /> m <br /> "' CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£ASANTONt <br /> March 20, 2018 <br /> Community Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVE THE SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH THE TRI-VALLEY <br /> REPERTORY THEATRE FOR THEATRICAL PRODUCTION SERVICES <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The Community Services Department is requesting approval for its Services Agreement <br /> with the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre (TVRT) for theatrical production services for FY <br /> 2018/19. Services include: professional, artistic, technical and administrative support <br /> for two (2) annual theatrical productions. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS <br /> Screening Committee Recommendation (Nene/Wedge-Bonde) <br /> Unanimously voted to recommend Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre (TVRT) as the theatrical <br /> production company for the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Civic Arts Commission Recommendation <br /> Voted 5-2 to recommend Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre (TVRT) as the theatrical <br /> production company for the City of Pleasanton. <br /> Staff Recommendation <br /> Approve and authorize the City Manager to execute the Services Agreement with the <br /> Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre for theatrical production services. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed Services Agreement with the Tri-Valley Repertory Theatre for theatrical <br /> production services is in the amount not to exceed $130,000 annually. The expense of <br /> this agreement will be offset by revenues derived from ticket sales. Funding is included <br /> as part of the FY 2018/19 Operating Budget process, as expenses will not be realized <br /> until July 1, 2018. <br />
