immIlionHE CITY OF 3 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTON® <br /> March 20, 2018 <br /> City Manager <br /> TITLE: 2017-2018 CITY COUNCIL WORK PLAN MID-TERM PROGRESS <br /> UPDATE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> For the past 12 years, the City Council has adopted a two-year work plan designed to <br /> inform the community of the Council's "shared vision," and to provide the city manager <br /> with the policy direction needed to direct City resources, including preparation of the <br /> annual operating budget and capital improvement program and budget. The 2017-2018 <br /> City Council Work Plan was officially adopted by the Council on March 21, 2017. Since <br /> its adoption, City staff has provided quarterly updates to the Work Plan, providing <br /> information about each project's scope and current progress toward completion. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Review and accept the most recent update to the 2017-2018 City Council Work Plan. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> While individual projects in the 2017-2018 Work Plan may have impacts to the operating <br /> budget and capital improvement plans, this update will have no financial impact. <br />
