CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 700 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 3 (ANIMAL CONTROL), OF TITLE IV (HEALTH, SAFETY, MORAL AND GENERAL WELFARE) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO FEES AND LICENSING !~THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. Section 4-5.02 (Definitions) of Article 1 (Genera] !iand Definitions), Chapter 3, of'Title IV of the Ordinance Code of !ithe City of Pleasanton is hereby amended by amending subsection "h" "l" and "m" to read as follows: and adding subsections "k", h. "Director" shall mean the Chief of Police of the City of Pleasanton or his authorized deputy or representa- tive. k. "Animal Control Agency" shall mean the Police Depart- ment of the City of Pleasanton 1. "Fees and Charges Resolution" means the resolution establishing fees and charges for various municipal services of the City of Pleasanton. m. "Health Officer" means the Health Officer for the County of Alameda. SECTION 2. Section 4-5.17 (Display of License to Veterinar- ian) is hereby added to Article 2 (Dog Licenses), Chapter 3, Title IV of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton to read as S4-5.17 Display of License to Veterinarian. When a dulyi licensed veterinarian practicing with'~n C~ty!ofPleasa~tor innoculates a dog with a rabies vaccine and the owner or possessor of the dog does not present a current license for the dog to him, the veterinarian shall notify the animal control agency of the name and address of the owner or possessor of the dog. The animal control agency will provide necessary material~ to each veterinarian for the purpose of reporting such information. SECTION 3. Article 5 (Fees), Chapter 3, Title IV,(Health, Safety Moral and General Welfare) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby amended in its entirety to read as follows:
