Library Entertainers (cont.) Recreation Entertainers (less <br /> than $100,000) (cont.) <br /> Entertainer Selection <br /> Committee (comprised of staff, <br /> S. Contract Negotiation and Type <br /> 4.B.1. Contract terms shall be negotiated by staff,with the use of PollStar and other <br /> public agency theaters as price references, as available. It is acknowledged that <br /> entertainment contracts prices and terms are dependent on entertainer's popularity, <br /> availability, geographic distance from Pleasanton, size of troupe/band, <br /> equipment needs, travel and lodging costs, and other expenses. Additional fees <br /> may also be required to be paid if the entertainer is represented by an agent. <br /> 4.B.2. Contract type should be standard City Performers Agreement. However, if the <br /> entertainer or his or her agent insist on their own contract, that will be acceptable <br /> after review and approval by the City Attorney's Office. <br /> 4.C. Approval Levels Value of contract for determining approval level is based on: <br /> (a) direct payment to the entertainer/agent(also known as the guarantee); and <br /> (b) for those contracts which provide for the entertainer to be paid a percentage of ticket <br /> sales (also known as the bonus)then added to the contract value is thirty percent(30%) of <br /> the guarantee.
