c. The Civic Arts Commission is recommending placement of this design on <br /> the utility box located at the corner of Stanley Boulevard and Valley <br /> Avenue. <br /> 4. "Untitled" — artist, Pedro Mercado <br /> a. Artist Description: the artist wants to commemorate the horse racing <br /> history in Pleasanton with this piece. The horses could be painted to <br /> reflect historic horses and the jockey's silks could be painted to reflect <br /> historic silks. <br /> b. The Civic Arts Commission stated they feel this design is a great fit for this <br /> location. <br /> c. The Civic Arts Commission is recommending placement of this design on <br /> the utility box located at the corner of Bernal Avenue and Valley Avenue. <br /> CONCLUSION <br /> The Civic Arts Commission has approved the aforementioned designs and are <br /> recommending the designs to the City Council for their review and consideration. Once <br /> the designs and locations are approved and an agreement with the artists are <br /> completed, the artists will have a four (4) week period to complete their work.
