THE CITY OF 6 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> PLEASANTON. <br /> February 20, 2018 <br /> Community Services <br /> TITLE: APPROVAL OF SERVICE AGREEMENT WITH THE AMADOR <br /> LIVERMORE VALLEY HISTORICAL SOCIETY FOR TECHNICAL <br /> SUPPORT ASSOCIATED WITH MUSEUM ON MAIN OPERATIONS AND <br /> APPROVAL OF A FIVE YEAR EXTENSION OF THE LEASE FOR THE <br /> MUSEUM <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City of Pleasanton and the Board of Directors of the Amador Livermore Valley <br /> Historical Society (ALVHS), desire to continue their working relationship to preserve and <br /> commemorate the history of Pleasanton. Under the Agreement, funding has been <br /> allocated to directly support the Museum on Main's administrative and programming <br /> costs associated with honoring the history of Pleasanton through its events, displays, <br /> and educational programs. Staff is also requesting that the lease for the museum <br /> building at 603 Main Street be extended. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve the service agreement with the Amador Livermore Valley Historical Society for <br /> a four (4.5) year term for $109,800 per year, and the extension of the lease. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> The proposed agreement for $109,800 includes related expenses for administrative <br /> support and programming for the Museum on Main. Funding is through the Community <br /> Promotions Fund # 00199200-430107. <br />
