This type of delineator is often used to <br />separate bike lanes from travel lanes and is <br />a visible tool to provide lane guidance as <br />well as road closure; but does allow vehicles <br />to drive over/through if necessary. The City <br />does not currently have any installations of <br />this nature in the City. <br />Budget <br />The expected cost for the design shown in <br />the previous section, including two rows of the flexible spring loaded delineators (two <br />rows at 50 feet in length) and the pavement striping is $20,000 as indicated below: <br />Furnish and Install 100 feet of spring-loaded delineators <br />Install additional pavement striping (bike lane and hatching) <br />Total Estimated Project Cost: <br />$15,000 <br />5,000 <br />$20,000 <br />There are not any funds currently available in the City's Bi -annual Traffic Calming <br />Program (CIP No. 16555) so this project would need to wait for the new fiscal year and <br />the funding of CIP No. 18555.
