City of Pleasanton 1/18/2018 <br />Scope of Services <br />DOWNTOWN PARKING LOT <br />The Downtown Parking Lot project will reconstruct the existing City -owned, one-way, dirt <br />parking to a paved surface with perpendicular parking on both sides of a single drive aisle. The <br />lot is located one-half block east of Main Street and extends from Abbie Street to the north to <br />Bernal Avenue to the south. The project is planned to incorporate the following features: <br />Earth retaining structures <br />Site lighting <br />Shared Bike/Ped pathways <br />Electric vehicle parking <br />Parking detection and dynamic information signage <br />Stormwater quality treatment <br />100 Project Management <br />Jon Cacciotti will be the Project Manager, and will be responsible for HMH services on the <br />project. He will manage our subconsultants and coordinate the team with The City of <br />Pleasanton (CITY) and other agencies involved. <br />The Project Manager will be responsible for project organization and monitoring. This involves <br />planning the work program, organizing the team personnel to implement the program, <br />monitoring the team progress, and controlling the quality of the work products to complete the <br />project on time and within budget. <br />The work program will include periodic team meetings with CITY to establish clear, concise <br />project goals, design criteria, schedules and budgets. Minutes will be taken at meetings <br />summarizing topics discussed, decisions made and action to be taken. Meeting minutes will be <br />distributed to participants and appropriate affected parties. <br />It is assumed that eight (8) meetings are included in this task. <br />105 Quality Control / Quality Assurance <br />Implement Quality Control procedures including identification of senior staff responsible for <br />independent reviews, scheduling review periods and documenting the QC/QA process <br />Conduct an internal quality assurance reviews of the plans, specifications, and estimates prior <br />to with the 35%, 75%, 100% and Bid Submittals to CITY. <br />110 Community Engagement <br />Assist CITY in coordinating community meetings to discuss the preliminary and final plans as <br />well as construction and traffic control impacts. Conduct presentations at the community <br />meetings. Gather input regarding issues which may be of special concern to residents and <br />businesses. <br />It is assumed that three (3) outreach meetings will be held within this scope of work.
