Pleasanton Downtown Specific Plan EIR <br /> Scope of Work <br /> This budget includes all personnel labor and overhead costs, sub-contractors' costs, and <br /> direct costs,and delivery of products identified in the Scope of Work. Sub-contractors' fees <br /> and direct costs are billed with no administrative markup or handling fee. The budget also <br /> includes printing costs for the number of copies of final products listed below and in the <br /> Scope of Work. <br /> This is a guaranteed maximum fee; if the Scope of Work does not change,Dyett&Bhatia will <br /> complete the project within the above maximum fee. We are also willing to undertake the <br /> assignment on a guaranteed maximum fee basis, where we will bill based on task/sub-task <br /> completed. <br /> We have budgeted,for all tasks with a level of effort that we believe is necessary to meet the <br /> City's project objectives and achieve an overall consensus among stakeholders and decision- <br /> makers.We are willing to work with the City to reallocate our budget/efforts to better serve <br /> the City's needs. <br /> BUDGET ASSUMPTIONS <br /> Our budget is based on the following assumptions: <br /> • Meeting Attendance. The budget assumes attendance at meetings as shown in the <br /> Scope of Work. Meetings with City Staff will occur as needed and are not separately <br /> listed in the Scope of Work. All meetings are assumed to be attended by Dyett & <br /> Bhatia, with subconsultant attendance as noted or as required. Costs of additional <br /> meeting attendance would be on a time and materials basis if requested; such costs <br /> are not included within the guaranteed maximum fee. <br /> • Consolidated Comments and Direction. City staff will provide a single set of <br /> consolidated comments on the review drafts of all documents. Unless otherwise <br /> specified in the Scope of Work each product will be finalized following one round of <br /> staff review; additional iterations and reviews will be considered additional service. <br /> Once graphic formats for documents have been established and agreed upon, <br /> changes in style or graphic design may constitute additional services. <br /> • Electronic Documents.We will provide digital files of documents in Word and Adobe <br /> PDF formats, available by electronic transfer. Files will be provided both in high- <br /> resolution format for printing as well as low-resolution for posting on the City's <br /> website. <br /> • Printing.We will provide ten hard copies of the public review Draft EIR.The budget <br /> assumes that the City will be responsible for printing of additional copies, and all <br /> meeting notice materials. <br /> • Mailing and Filing. D&B will prepare and send the EIR Notice of Preparation to OPR; <br /> the City will be responsible for sending the notice to agencies and individuals on its <br /> list. D&B will also file Notice of Availability of Draft EIR/Completion with OPR. The <br /> City will be responsible for filing the Notice of Determination and filing fees with the <br /> County,and any other noticing and filing. <br /> - 10- <br />
