That is because the language states that the protections in <br /> Measure PP can only be amended by the voters of Pleasanton in a General election. All ridgelines <br /> are protected, thus staff attempting to downgrade certain ridgelines as "spurs" is irrelevant. Ridgeline <br /> maps that were in effect in November 2008 are the ridgelines protected, and downgrading some <br /> ridgelines as spurs or lower elevation ridgelines does not remove any protections enacted by the <br /> voters in November 2008. <br /> 1 <br />
