FRANCIS ELECTRIC AND VISTA <br /> UNIVERSAL, INC. TO PROVIDE AN INDEXED ANNUAL INCREASE AND <br /> TO ADD ADDITIONAL RENEWAL OPTION <br /> SUMMARY <br /> To effectively maintain community infrastructure, the City actively seeks a number of <br /> out-sourced contractor services in a broad range of areas, including facility repairs, <br /> streets repairs, utilities (water and sewer) maintenance, equipment repairs, and park, <br /> trail and street median maintenance and landscaping. Council has previously approved <br /> two (2) "As Needed" vendors (St. Francis Electric and Vista Universal, Inc.) for street, <br /> parking lot and pathway lights maintenance and repair services on July 15, 2014. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Approve amendments to "as-needed" streetlights maintenance agreements with St. <br /> Francis Electric and Vista Universal, Inc. to provide an indexed annual increase and to <br /> add additional renewal options for up to a maximum of five years each. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Streetlights maintenance services are funded through the Operations Services, Streets <br /> Maintenance Budget. Operations Services Department will seek budget adjustments <br /> during FY 2017/18 mid-year budget to cover the CPI increases which is approximately <br /> $10,000.00. <br />
