<br />42. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required prior to occupancy. <br /> <br />Police Department Requirements: <br /> <br />43. If required by the Police Department, the building(s) shall be equipped with an alarm <br />system, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this system shall be <br />installed prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br />44. The area of the development shall be tested for strength and clarity of signal to and from <br />the area for City emergency services communications including, but not limited to, City <br />eight-hundred mega-hertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Services <br />radio, Alameda County eight-hundred mega-hertz (800 mgh) trunked radio, CLEMAR/ <br />Police Dispatch, and the current police mobile data system, unless waived by the Police <br />Department, City of Pleasanton. Expert opinions may be required in anticipation of <br />communications difficulties inside or around large structures. Mitigation plans of less <br />than acceptable communications shall be submitted to the satisfaction of the Police <br />Department prior to approval and shall be financed by the project developer immediately <br />upon approval. <br /> <br />Fire Department Requirements: <br /> <br />45. The project developer shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, Chapter 20.24). <br /> <br />46. The project developer shall keep the site free of fire hazards from the start of construction <br />until the final inspection. <br /> <br />47. Any project developer, business owner, or tenant storing and/or using hazardous materials <br />within a building covered by this approval, shall post National Fire Protection (NFP) 704 <br />identification on the building and/or tenancy according to the City's "Hazardous Materials <br />Identification Sign" procedures. <br /> <br />48. Prior to any construction framing, the project developer shall provide adequate fire <br />protection facilities, including, but not limited to surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water <br />supply and water flow in conformance to the City's Fire Department Standards able to <br />suppress a major fire. <br /> <br />2-99-079, Final Conditions of Approval <br />Kevin BestlPanattoni Development Company <br /> <br />August 25, 1999 <br />Page 8 of 17 <br />
