Mitigation measures for tree removal would include planting one (l) twenty-four inch (24") box-size tree for a non-heritage tree and four (4) twenty-four inch (24") box-size trees for a heritage tree. All other trees used in landscaping shall be a minimum of fifteen (15) gallons in size and all shrubs shall be a minimum of five (5) gallons in size. 18. Six inch (6") vertical concrete curbs shall be installed between all paved and land- scaped areas. 19. The project developer shall provide root control barriers and four inch (4") perfo- rated pipes for parking lot trees, street trees, and trees in planting areas less than ten feet (10' 0") in width, as determined necessary by the Planning Director at the time of review of the final landscape plans. Construction Requirements: 20. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required. 21. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible from exist- ing residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. 22. All site improvement activity shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. All construction equipment must meet Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling devices. 23. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be re- moved from the site at the end of each work day. Engineering Requirements: 24.
