Mitigation measures for tree removal would include planting one (l) twenty-four <br />inch (24") box-size tree for a non-heritage tree and four (4) twenty-four inch (24") <br />box-size trees for a heritage tree. All other trees used in landscaping shall be a <br />minimum of fifteen (15) gallons in size and all shrubs shall be a minimum of five <br />(5) gallons in size. <br /> <br />18. Six inch (6") vertical concrete curbs shall be installed between all paved and land- <br />scaped areas. <br /> <br />19. The project developer shall provide root control barriers and four inch (4") perfo- <br />rated pipes for parking lot trees, street trees, and trees in planting areas less than <br />ten feet (10' 0") in width, as determined necessary by the Planning Director at the <br />time of review of the final landscape plans. <br /> <br />Construction Requirements: <br /> <br />20. Final inspection by the Planning Department is required. <br /> <br />21. Portable toilets used during construction shall be kept as far as possible from exist- <br />ing residences and shall be emptied on a regular basis as necessary to prevent odor. <br /> <br />22. All site improvement activity shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 <br />p.m., Monday through Friday. All construction equipment must meet Department <br />of Motor Vehicles (DMV) noise standards and shall be equipped with muffling <br />devices. <br /> <br />23. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as <br />living or sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be re- <br />moved from the site at the end of each work day. <br /> <br />Engineering Requirements: <br /> <br />24.
