<br />Resolution No. PC-99-51 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />7. The business owner shall not allow any person to have keys to the firearm storage safe in <br />office #4 (as shown on Exhibit "A") unless the person's background has been checked by <br />the Pleasanton Police Department and the Pleasanton Police Department has given <br />him/her approval to engage in firearm sales activities. <br /> <br />8. Deliveries of firearms and police equipment to the business shall only occur Monday <br />through Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.. Delivered packages shall only be <br />received by a person who has had hislher background checked by the Pleasanton Police <br />Department and has been given approval by the Pleasanton Police Department to engage <br />in firearm sales activities. If a person who has been approved by the Pleasanton Police <br />Department to engage in firearm sales is not able to sign for a package delivered, the <br />package shall not be received, but shall be delivered at a later time when the person is <br />able to sign for the package. The business owner shall only allow packages which <br />require the recipient's signature at the time of delivery to be delivered to the site. <br /> <br />9. At any time, no more than ten (10) firearms shall be stored at 6920 Koll Center Parkway, <br />Suite #225. <br /> <br />10. Ammunition shall not be sold at 6920 Koll Center Parkway, Suite #225 unless the <br />proposed sale is reviewed and approved by the Planning Director. <br /> <br />11. Customers will be seen on an appointment only basis. No walk-in customers shall be <br />permitted. No more than five appointments shall be made in a week. <br /> <br />12. The business owner shall not advertise the business in newspapers, telephone books, over <br />the internet, or in general trade magazines or newspapers. <br /> <br />13. The business owner shall not allow a person to conduct the final paper work for a firearm <br />sales transaction unless the person's background has been checked by the Pleasanton <br />Police Department and the Pleasanton Police Department has given him/her approval to <br />engage in firearm sales activities. <br /> <br />14. When a firearm customer is picking up a firearm that he or she has purchased, an <br />employee who is approved by the Pleasanton Police Department to engage in firearm <br />sales activities shall walk the customer and the firearm to the front exit of the building. <br /> <br />15. If the applicant wishes to relocate the business to a different building, the applicant shall <br />secure a new conditional use permit to relocate into the new tenant space or building prior <br />to occupying the tenant space or building. <br /> <br />{end} <br />
