<br />Resolution No. PC-99-5l <br />Page 4 <br /> <br />Exhibit "B" <br />Conditions of Approval <br />Case UP-99-18 <br />6920 Koll Center Parkway, Suite #225/UP-99-18 <br />Firearm Sales <br />(July 28, 1999) <br /> <br />1. The proposed use shall conform substantially to the written narrative, site plan, floor <br />plan, and photographs, Exhibit "A", dated "Received April 27, 1999", on file with the <br />Planning Department, except as modified by the following conditions. Minor changes to <br />the plans and conditions may be allowed subject to the approval of the Planning Director <br />if found to be in substantial conformance to the approval. <br /> <br />2. If the operation of the proposed use results in conflicts in regard to parking, noise, traffic, <br />safety, or other impacts, at the discretion of the Planning Director, this use permit may be <br />submitted to the Planning Commission for further review at a public hearing. If <br />necessary, the Commission may modify or add conditions of approval to mitigate such <br />impact, or may revoke the use permit. <br /> <br />3. The applicant shall comply with all City Municipal Code regulations, including City <br />ordinances no. 1719, 1738, and Article 77 of the Fire Code, and all state and federal <br />regulations regarding firearm sales. The applicant shall not sell, lease, or otherwise <br />transfer a firearm without also selling or otherwise providing with each firearm a trigger <br />lock or other similar device that is designed to prevent the unintentional discharge of the <br />firearm. <br /> <br />4. Within thirty (30) days of approval of this case, Case UP-99-18, the applicant shall apply <br />for a Police Department permit to sell firearms at 6920 Koll Center Parkway, Suite #225. <br />The applicant shall maintain this permit at all times while selling firearms. This use <br />permit is void without such Police Department permit. <br /> <br />5. At all times a sign highly visible and legible to customers shall be placed in the <br />applicant's office at 6920 Koll Center Parkway, Suite #225 which states the following, <br />"all firearms sold shall be provided with a trigger lock or similar device that is designed <br />to prevent the unintentional discharge of the firearm as required by the Pleasanton <br />Municipal Code, Section 6.64.060.C". <br /> <br />6. All firearms received at 6920 Koll Center Parkway, suite #225 shall not be removed from <br />the site until the firearm is transferred to the customer. All firearms received shall be <br />stored in a locked safe in the storage room as shown on Exhibit "A". The storage room <br />shall be alarmed when the business at 6920 Koll Center Parkway, suite #225 is closed. <br />
