CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLES 1 and 2 OF CHAPTER 8, TITLE II OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO SEWER SERVICE AND CONNECTION CHARGES RESPECTIVELY. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I. Section 2-15.03 of Article 1, Chapter 8, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to sewer service charges is hereby amended so as to provide as follows: "~2-15.03 Charges. The following monthly charges are hereby established for sewage services and sewer facilities furnished by the City: a. Residential Unit: $3.50 per month b. Sleeping units without kitchen facilities: $2.5 per month. c. Offices and light commercial establishments, without cooking facilities, bar facilities or heavy water uses: $3.50 per month. d. Commercial establishments with cooking facili- ties or similar facilities: $4.85 per month. e. Industrial and heavy commercial uses, including schools, laundries, laundromats, car wash units e e II. Section 2-15.13 of Article 2 of Chapter 8, Title II of the Ordi- nance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to sewer connection fees is hereby amended so as to provide as follows: "~ 2-15.13 Connection Charges. To establish appropriate pro- visions for the construction and expansion of the sanitary sewerage system of the City of Pleasanton, inclusive of the treatment plant, or to purchase capacity in some other system, and to be assured that the cost of such construction and expansion is borne by those who receive the benefits thereof, there is hereby established connection charges for all connec- tions made to the sanitary sewerage system of the City of Pleasanton after the effective date of Ordinance No. 467, September 9, 1966, in accordance with the following schedule: a. For each dwelling unit other than those provided for in subsection (i) hereof, the sum of $735.00.
