<br />Resolution No. PC-99-37 <br />Page 5 <br /> <br />7. The applicant shall set forth and enforce a store policy that all persons in the firearm <br />display area who appear to be age 21 or younger shall be asked for a picture identification <br />showing their date of birth. All persons under age 18 who are not accompanied by an <br />adult shall be asked to leave the firearm display area as shown on Exhibit" A", on file at <br />the Planning Department. <br /> <br />8. The owner shall not allow an employee to show a customer a displayed firearm unless the <br />customer's valid driver's license or other government identification is provided to the <br />employee and is stored out of the customer's reach until the firearm is returned to the <br />employee. <br /> <br />9. All firearms in a display case shall be trigger locked. <br /> <br />10. All firearms shall be displayed in a locked glass case or in a similar locked case subject to <br />the review and approval of the Police Department. Within 90 days ofthe approval ofthis <br />case, Case UP-99-08, the applicant shall install a locking glass case(s), or similar locking <br />case( s) in which all displayed firearms will be stored. <br /> <br />11. Deliveries of firearms to Outdoor World shall not occur between sunset and sunrise. <br /> <br />12. All firearms shall either be stored in the firearm storage room or in the firearm display <br />area as shown in the floor plan, Exhibit "A", dated "Received March 11, 1999". <br /> <br />13. The firearm storage room shall be locked when the store manager, an assistant manager, <br />or an employee who has been approved by the Pleasanton Police Department to engage in <br />firearm sales activities is not in the room. The door to the storage room shall be equipped <br />with a device to automatically close and lock the door after a person exits the firearm <br />storage room. <br /> <br />14. The owner shall not allow an employee to have keys to the firearm displays or storage <br />room unless the employee's background has been checked by the Pleasanton Police <br />Department and the Pleasanton Police Department has given him/her approval to engage <br />in firearm sales activities. <br /> <br />15. The owner shall not allow an employee to conduct the final paper work for a firearm <br />sales transaction unless the employee's background has been checked by the Pleasanton <br />Department and the Pleasanton Police Department has given him/her approval to engage <br />in firearm sales activities. <br /> <br />16. When a firearm customer is picking up a firearm that he or she has purchased, an <br />employee who is approved by the Pleasanton Police Department to engage in firearm <br />sales activities shall walk the customer and the firearm to the front exit. <br />
