<br />Resolution No. PC-98-90 <br /> <br />Page 11 <br /> <br />54. Trash enclosures which are sized to contain dumpsters with an individual capacity <br />of 1.5 cubic yards located within five feet of combustible walls, openings, or <br />combustible roof eaves shall be provided with an automatic fire sprinkler system. <br /> <br />55. The applicants shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface <br />roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow <br />shall be installed and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. <br />When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this <br />requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire <br />protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative <br />fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />56. All roads on the site are designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief <br />and must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire <br />Code and be accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project <br />is completed. Curbs must be painted red or "No Parking" signs provided as <br />required by the vehicle code. <br /> <br />Police <br /> <br />57. If required by the Police Department, the building(s) shall be equipped with an <br />alarm system, the type to be approved by the Police Department and that this <br />system shall be installed prior to occupancy of the building. <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />58. The developer shall install 6 ft. wide natural colored concrete sidewalk along the <br />street frontage of the project site. Said sidewalk shall be installed adjacent to the <br />curb and gutter and shall be poured monolithically. A detail of the sidewalk shall <br />be provided on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be <br />subject to review and approval by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />59. The applicants shall lower the utility box(es) below grade to allow the proposed <br />northern driveway to be installed over the utility box(es). Details of the relocated <br />utility box(es) shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building <br />permits and shall be subject to the review and approval by the City Engineer. <br />
