<br />26. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of lumber construction to the <br />final inspection. <br /> <br />27. Prior to any framing construction, an applicant shall provide adequate fire protection <br />facilities, including, but not limited to, surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water <br />supply and water flow sufficient to City Fire Department Standards to suppress a <br />rnajor fire. If prior to any framing construction an applicant proposes in writing an <br />alternative method of fire protection, the Fire Chief may allow the alternative <br />method of fire protection. <br /> <br />28. All public and private streets, driveways, aisles, and alleys designated as fire lanes <br />by the Fire Chief shall be maintained in accordance with Articles 9 and 10 of the <br />Uniform Fire Code which includes tow of vehicles illegally parked on the fire lanes. <br />Fire lane curbs shall be painted red with "No Parking Fire Lane" or "No Parking Fire <br />Lane" signs installed as required by the vehicle code. Any portion of the home's <br />driveway that is within the area needed for the Fire Department turnaround on this <br />site shall be clearly delineated through the use of different paving or other <br />acceptable means determined by the Planning Director and Fire Marshall. This <br />necessary turnaround area shall also be posted with signs or other acceptable means <br />that "No Parking" is permitted. <br /> <br />29. The house shall be equipped with an automatic fire sprinkler system. The applicant <br />shall secure a permit from the Fire Marshall prior to any installation of a fire <br />detection, alarm, and occupant notification system. All sprinkler system water flow <br />and control valves shall be complete and serviceable prior to final inspection. <br /> <br />Engineering <br /> <br />30. All utilities required to serve any existing or proposed development on-site shall be <br />installed underground, unless otherwise determined by the City Engineer. <br /> <br />31. The developer shall pay his prorata share, as determined by the City Engineer, of the <br />770 water line across the area of Parcel Map 6261 prior to the issuance of a building <br />permit. Until the commencement of the operation of this 770 water system, the <br />developer shall install and maintain a booster pump behind the water meter for this <br />structure. <br /> <br />32.
