(a) When the heater is installed in a pit, the <br /> <br /> pit shall be provided with approved drainage facilities. <br /> <br /> (b) All water heating equipment shall be installed <br /> with flanges or union connections adjacent to the heater. <br /> <br /> ( c ) When water heating equipment is installed in <br /> <br /> a closed system, i.e., has a valve between the appliance and <br /> the pool, a pressure relief valve shall be installed on the <br /> discharge side of the water heating equipment. For units up to <br /> and including 200,000 BTU/hr input, the relief valve shall be <br /> A.G.A. rated, and for inputs over 200,000 BTU/hr, the valve shall <br /> be A.S.M.E. rated. <br /> <br /> (d) A check valve shall be located between the <br /> <br />iiheater and the filter. <br /> <br /> 92-18.57 Gas Piping <br /> <br /> (a) Workmanship. No gas piping shall be strained <br />~ior bent and no appliance shall be supported by or develop any <br />lstrain or stress on its supply piping. <br /> <br /> (b) Inspections. <br /> <br /> 1) Upon completion of the installation, alter- <br /> iation, or repair of any gas piping, and prior to the use thereof, <br /> the administrative authority shall be notified that such gas <br /> piping is ready for inspection. <br /> <br /> 2) The administrative authority shall make the <br /> <br /> 'following inspections and shall either approve that portion of <br /> ~he,~ work as completed or shall notify the permit holder wherein <br />i~he same fails to comply with this chapter: <br /> <br /> i) The rough piping inspection shall <br /> <br /> ~e made after all gas piping authorized by the permit has been <br /> [nstalled and before any such piping has been covered or <br /> ~oncealed, or any fixture or appliance has been attached thereto. <br /> Fhis inspection shall include a determination that the gas <br /> <br /> iping size, material, and installation meet the requirements <br /> <br /> i' <br /> ~.bf this chapter. <br /> <br /> -14 - <br /> <br /> <br />
