<br />Resolution No. PC-98-67 <br /> <br />Page 10 <br /> <br />60. Electric power distribution, gas distribution, communication service, cable television, and <br />any required alarm systems shall be installed underground in a joint utility trench unless <br />otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer or Director of Building Inspection <br />for on-site. <br /> <br />61. The applicant shall be responsible for the installation of the lighting system serving the <br />development. The street lights shall be 70 watt, high pressure sodium vapor units <br />mounted on galvanized steel poles with poured in place bases, on the LS-l C schedule per <br />City requirements and P.G.&E. standard details, unless otherwise specifically approved. <br />Approval for the number, location, and type of electroliers shall be subject to the review <br />and approval ofthe City Engineer. <br /> <br />62. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject property <br />shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the developer. <br />This shall include slurry seal, overlay, or street reconstruction if deemed warranted by the <br />City Engineer. <br /> <br />63. The applicant's contractor(s) shall obtain an encroachment permit from the City Engineer <br />prior to moving any construction equipment onto the site <br /> <br />64. The applicant shall comply with the City's non-point storm drain ordinance. <br /> <br />65. Prior to commencement of any clearing, grading, or excavation, the applicant shall <br />submit to the Planning Department a copy of the State Water Resources Control Board <br />Notice of Intent (N0l) for coverage under the State Construction Storm Water General <br />Permit. <br /> <br />66. The applicant shall submit a construction Best Management Practice (BMP) program for <br />review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of any building and/or <br />grading permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the general contractor and all <br />subcontractors and suppliers of materials and equipment. Construction site cleanup and <br />control of construction debris shall also be addressed in this program. Failure to comply <br />with the approved construction BMP may result in the issuance of correction notices, <br />citations, or a project stop work order. <br /> <br />67. The applicant is responsible for implementing the following measures during all <br />construction phases of the subject project: <br /> <br />a.) Gather all construction debris on a regular basis and place them in a dumpster or other <br />container which is emptied or removed on a weekly basis. When appropriate, use tarps <br />on the ground to collect fallen debris or splatters that could contribute to storm water <br />pollution. <br />
