Prior to final inspection of the building by the Building Department and prior to commencement of the business operation, the building user shall have an approved hazardous materials business plan (HMBP) on file with the Fire Department. Please contact Chris Boykin, Hazardous Materials Consultant, at 925-454-2362 ifthere are any questions. 43. The applicants shall install an automatic fire sprinkler system for the building. The sprinkler system shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits and shall be subject to review and approval by the Fire Chief and Director of Building Inspection prior to issuance of a building permit. 44. The Fire Department shall be provided all necessary means of access though the gate on the subject site and the gate located behind the existing building on the adjacent lot located at 3275 Bernal Avenue. 45. A 20- foot wide fire truck aisle shall be demarcated on the pavement behind the existing Diablo Auto Body building located at 3275 Bernal Avenue to prevent the aisle-way from being obstructed by parked cars. 46. The applicant shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. Tenant spaces shall be identified as determined by the City. 47. The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). 48. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. 49. The applicant shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. 50. All roads on the site are designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief and must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire Code and be accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project is completed. Curbs must be painted red or "No Parking" signs provided as required by the vehicle code.
