Prior to final inspection of the building by the Building Department and prior to <br />commencement of the business operation, the building user shall have an approved <br />hazardous materials business plan (HMBP) on file with the Fire Department. Please <br />contact Chris Boykin, Hazardous Materials Consultant, at 925-454-2362 ifthere are any <br />questions. <br /> <br />43. The applicants shall install an automatic fire sprinkler system for the building. The <br />sprinkler system shall be shown on the plans submitted for issuance of building permits <br />and shall be subject to review and approval by the Fire Chief and Director of Building <br />Inspection prior to issuance of a building permit. <br /> <br />44. The Fire Department shall be provided all necessary means of access though the gate on <br />the subject site and the gate located behind the existing building on the adjacent lot <br />located at 3275 Bernal Avenue. <br /> <br />45. A 20- foot wide fire truck aisle shall be demarcated on the pavement behind the existing <br />Diablo Auto Body building located at 3275 Bernal Avenue to prevent the aisle-way from <br />being obstructed by parked cars. <br /> <br />46. The applicant shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from <br />all adjoining streets or driveways during both daylight and night time hours. Tenant <br />spaces shall be identified as determined by the City. <br /> <br />47. The development shall meet all requirements of the Pleasanton Fire Code (Chapter 20.24 <br />of the Pleasanton Municipal Code). <br /> <br />48. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />49. The applicant shall ensure that fire protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire <br />hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed <br />and serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of <br />protection are as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or <br />modified. Proposed alternative methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, <br />to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative fire protection methods shall not start without <br />the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />50. All roads on the site are designated as fire apparatus access roads by the Fire Chief and <br />must be maintained in accordance with Section 10.201 of the Uniform Fire Code and be <br />accessible at all times from the start of construction until the project is completed. Curbs <br />must be painted red or "No Parking" signs provided as required by the vehicle code. <br />
