<br />Resolution No. PC-98-22 <br />Page 7 <br /> <br />31. All site improvements and house construction activities shall be limited to the hours of 8:00 <br />a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday. All construction equipment must meet DMV noise <br />standards and shall be equipped with muffiing devices. <br /> <br />32. At no time shall campers, trailers, motor homes, or any other vehicle be used as living or <br />sleeping quarters on the construction site. All such vehicles shall be removed from the site at the <br />end of each workday. <br /> <br />33. The site shall be kept free of fire hazards from the start of construction to final inspection. <br /> <br />34. The applicants shall post address numerals on the building so as to be plainly visible from <br />the adjoining streets during both daylight and night time hours. <br /> <br />35. The house shall the meet the fire and security requirements in Chapters 20.24 and 20.36 of <br />Title 20, Buildings and Construction, of the Pleasanton Municipal Code. <br /> <br />36. The applicant shall ensure that fue protection facilities, including all surface roads, fire <br />hydrants, and a water supply capable of furnishing the required fire flow shall be installed and <br />serviceable prior to and during the time of construction. When alternate methods of protection are <br />as approved by the Fire Chief, this requirement may be waived or modified. Proposed alternative <br />methods of fire protection shall be submitted, in writing, to the Fire Chief. Work on the alternative <br />fire protection methods shall not start without the approval of the Fire Chief. <br /> <br />37. Driplines of trees planted close to chimneys shall be at least ten (10) feet away from the <br />these chimney tops. The dripline shall be defined as the area on the ground that the tree covers on <br />attaining its mature form. <br /> <br />38. If required by the Police Department, the building shall be equipped with an alarm system, <br />the type to be approved by the Police Department. This system shall be installed prior to occupancy <br />of the building. The EVA gate must allow for fire suppression and life safety operation access by <br />providing for the Knox key access in addition to the Police Department requirements. <br /> <br />39. The applicant shall submit a construction Best Management Practice (BMP) program for <br />review and approval by the Planning Director prior to issuance of any building and/or grading <br />permits. These BMP's shall be implemented by the general contractor and all subcontractors and <br />suppliers of materials and equipment. Construction site cleanup and control of construction debris <br />shall also be addressed in this program. Failure to comply with the approved construction BMP <br />may result in the issuance of correction notices, citations, or a project stop work order. <br />
