ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ;, ORDINANCE NO. 645 AN ORDINANCE EFFECTING MODIFICATIONS IN THE UNIFORM BUILDING, MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING CODES IN ORDER TO ACCOMMODATE LOCAL CONDITIONS AND ADOPTING THE 1970 HOUSING CODE AND THE 1971 NATIONAL ELECTRICAL CODE ~' THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: I. Subparagraph 9, of Paragraph C of Section 2-12.36 of Article 1, :Chapter 3, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanto~, ~ relating to the deletion of Chapter 70 of the Appendix to the ,;Uniform Building Code is hereby deleted. i! II. ;! ii Section 2-14.03 of Article 1, Chapter 6, Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton relating to electrical codes is hereby amended so as to provide as follows: "§2-14.03 Adoption of Electrical Codes. There is hereby adopted by the City of Pleasanton that certain code known as the National Electrical Code of 1971 more particularly described below, except such portions as are hereinafter amended, modified or deleted, and the same is hereby adopted and incorporated as fully as if set out at length herein. Said electrical Code is the National Electrical Code (1971) (NFPA #70-HC-ANSI-Cl-1971) published by the National Fire Protection Association, three certified copies of which are on file with the City Clerk." III. ~Subparagraph (a) of Section 2-14.04 of Article 1, Chapter 6, :~ Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton, relating to amendments, modifications, additions to and deletions, to the adopted Electrical Code is hereby deleted. IV. :~'Title II of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is amended 'by the addition thereto of Chapter 10, relating to the adoption of !! '.~
