r <br /> Attachment <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> APPROVING THE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON AND THE PLEASANTON POLICE OFFICERS' ASSOCIATION WITH <br /> TERM ENDING MAY 31, 2020 <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Pleasanton is required to meet and confer in good faith with the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association over items covered within the scope of representation, <br /> including wages, hours and other terms and conditions of employment, and <br /> WHEREAS, representatives of the City met and conferred with representatives of the <br /> Pleasanton Police Officers' Association and developed a successor agreement with a three- <br /> year term ending May 31, 2020, and <br /> WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council authorize the wages, hours and <br /> other terms and conditions of employment as provided in the successor agreement <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1 Approves the attached Memorandum of Understanding between the City <br /> of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers'Association with term ending May 31, 2020 <br /> SECTION 2 This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and <br /> adoption <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on the 17th day of October 2017 <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the 17th day of <br /> October 2017, by the following vote <br /> Ayes <br /> Noes <br /> Absent <br /> Abstain <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM <br /> Daniel Sodergren, City Attorney <br /> Attachment <br />
