Employees who are ordered to report to work during their off-duty hours or who are assigned to <br /> or placed on telephone stand-by for the purpose of responding to a subpoena or other official <br /> notice to appear in court or at Department of Motor Vehicle hearings within the Livermore- <br /> Pleasanton Judicial District and who do so at the specified time shall receive a minimum of <br /> four(4) hours pay at time and one-half(1-1/2). This provision does not apply to instances <br /> where employees are ordered to report to work less than four(4) hours prior to their regular <br /> starting time or are held over less than four(4) hours after their regular quitting time for the <br /> purpose of appearing in court. Holidays <br /> 10.1 Holiday In-Lieu Pay <br /> Employees shall be compensated each year for working holidays through receipt of holiday in- <br /> lieu pay and shall be paid at seven and five-tenths percent (7.5%) of the employee's annual <br /> salary exclusive of any overtime and shall be in addition to the employee's regular monthly <br /> salary. Holiday in-lieu pay shall be paid in two equal installments, the first installment paid on <br /> the first pay date on or after November 1st, and the second installment paid on the first pay date <br /> on or after May 1st. <br /> Employees shall receive pro-rated pay upon termination. <br /> 10.2 Additional Paid Time Off <br /> Sixty-Eighty (6.080) hours of additional paid time off shall be credited to each employee each <br /> January for use during the calendar year in which the hours are credited and are not available <br /> for cash out. <br /> time off for a total of eighty (80)hours during 2015 and 2016. Each employee will return to a <br /> Non-probationary members assigned to the Operations Division, excluding Traffic Unit and <br /> Special Enforcement Unit, shall schedule the use of these hours during the annual vacation <br /> sign-up. Investigation Division members shall not be required to participate in the Operations <br /> sign-up process and individual unit supervisors shall manage the use of PTO by these staff <br /> 8 <br />
