F _ _ <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pL£AS4NTON® <br /> October 3, 2017 <br /> Community Development <br /> TITLE: RATIFY NEW ALTERNATE PLANNING COMMISSION APPOINTMENT TO <br /> THE DOWNTOWN SPECIFIC PLAN UPDATE TASK FORCE <br /> SUMMARY <br /> On January 17, 2017, the City Council ratified appointments to the ten-member <br /> Downtown Specific Plan Update Task Force comprising two City Council representatives, <br /> two Planning Commissioners, two Pleasanton Downtown Association (PDA) <br /> representatives, one Economic Vitality Committee (EVC) member, and three at-large <br /> representatives. The Planning Commission recently appointed a different alternate <br /> member (Nancy Allen) to the Task Force, requiring City Council ratification. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Staff recommends that the City Council ratify Nancy Allen as the alternate Planning <br /> Commission representative to serve on the Downtown Specific Plan Task Force. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> There will be no fiscal impact for the City as a result of this action. <br />
