additional year, the same consideration of extension will be given in March 2020 <br /> and 2021. <br /> 4. If the Service Agreement is extended, the MOU will likewise be extended. <br /> 5. Any amendments to the contract term, amount, or scope of work will be discussed <br /> and agreed upon by all Tri-Valley Cities.No party will authorize the Consultant <br /> to exceed the contracted costs without the consent of all Tri-Valley Cities. <br /> 6. The Tri-Valley Cities agree to equally share the costs of Legislative Advocacy <br /> Services $24,000 each annually. <br /> 7. The City of Pleasanton will bill each of the Tri-Valley Cities for the expenses <br /> related to the 2—year Service Agreement as follows: <br /> October 2017 $18,000 (9 months of Service Agreement) <br /> July 2018 $ $24,000 (12 months of Service Agreement) <br /> July 2019 $6,000 (3 months of Service Agreement) <br /> The Tri-Valley Cities agree to pay the City of Pleasanton within 30 days of <br /> receiving an invoice from the City. <br /> 8. In the event that the contract is terminated, or the City of Pleasanton no longer <br /> wishes to serve as the fiduciary agent, all unspent funds will be returned, in equal <br /> portions to each of the Tri-Valley Cities. <br /> 9. Should any of the Cities or Town engage the Consultant to initiate a specific task <br /> unique to their organization, the financial obligation and project management for <br /> that specific task will be the sole responsibility of that agency and will not be <br /> covered under this MOU or the Service Agreement with Consultant. <br /> 10. Project management for the Tri-Valley Cities Legislative Advocacy work will be <br /> rotated annually. The scheduled rotation is as follows: <br /> July 2017 to June 2018—Town of Danville <br /> July 2018 to June 2019—City of Dublin <br /> July 2019 to June 2020—City of Livermore <br /> July 2020 to June 2021 —City of Pleasanton <br /> July 2021 to June 2022—City of San Ramon <br /> 2 <br />
