Task 4 — Schedule Site Visits by Legislators and Agency Stakeholders to Tri- <br /> Valley Cities <br /> Whenever possible, TPA will schedule site visits by legislators and agency stakeholders to the <br /> Tri-Valley Cities. <br /> Task 4 — Deliverables <br /> • Visits conducted <br /> Task 5 — Legislation <br /> 5.1 TPA will identify, analyze, and monitor State and Federal Legislation. TPA will search, <br /> review, and track the progress of all bill introductions and legislative amendments <br /> relevant to the legislative platform of the Tri-Valley Cities to assess and share their <br /> potential impact. <br /> 5.2 TPA will craft testimony and position letters. TPA will prepare and submit written and <br /> verbal testimony regarding legislation relevant to the Tri-Valley Cities. TPA will also <br /> draft and deliver position letters to legislators and key officials on specific bill language. <br /> 5.3 TPA will draft bill language and amendments for legislation as required to protect and <br /> promote the legislative platform of the Tri-Valley Cities <br /> Task 5 —Deliverables <br /> • Identification, analysis and monitoring of State and Federal Legislation <br /> • Testimony and Position Letters <br /> • Bill language and Amendments <br /> • Electronic Reports on the status of legislative activities <br /> • Conference Calls, in-person briefings and meetings as needed <br /> • Prepare and file Lobbying Disclosure Reports <br /> Task 6 — Administration and Implementation of Legislative Action Plan <br /> 6.1 TPA will manage the day-to-day activities of the Tri-Valley Cities' Legislative Advocacy <br /> efforts, including implementation of the Legislative Action Plan <br /> 6.2 TPA will attend Quarterly Tri-Valley Cities Meetings as determined by Staff Liaisons. <br /> Participation may include coordination of knowledge expansion opportunities and guest <br /> speakers as relates to the TVC Framework and Action Plan. <br /> 6.3 TPA will attend the Quarterly Tri-Valley Cities City Council Dinner <br /> 6.4 TPA will work with Tri-Valley Cities Staff Liaison Lead to coordinate work and <br /> activities.
